Image and Video Guidelines

Photo and video specs that keep every listing sharp across formats.

Resolution and aspect ratio

Upload the largest version of a photo you have — Curblist crops to fit each template’s aspect ratio, and starting from a low-resolution file limits how large it can print or display.

Lighting and staging

Shoot during daylight hours when possible, and turn on interior lights even for daytime shots — it adds warmth that flat, evenly lit photos otherwise lack.

Video length

Keep vertical video under 30 seconds for Stories and Reels — attention drops sharply past that, and a tight cut of your best rooms outperforms a full walkthrough.

File size limits

Individual photo uploads are capped at 25MB and video at 500MB — most phone and camera exports fall well under this, but heavily edited RAW files may need compressing first.

Pro tip

A wide-angle lens exaggerates room size in a way that reads as misleading in person — a standard lens builds more trust at the showing.
